Australian HIR Compliance

Your project. Your credits.

Your HIR project — managed end to end from our platform. Field data capture, forage analysis, carbon modelling, report generation, and CER submission. All handled. At roughly half what intermediaries charge.

What Pryleaf does

Your project, handled from our platform.

You log what happens on the ground

Stock movements, paddock rotations, management activities, feral animal control — recorded from your phone as it happens. Geotagged photos attach directly to your compliance record so the CER sees exactly what you did.

We handle everything from there

AussieGRASS forage data, grazing safety calculator, RMT or FullCAM carbon model, compliance report generation, CER submission — all managed from our platform. You review, sign, and we submit.

How HIR offsets work

One ACCU. One tonne of CO₂ stored.

Australian Carbon Credit Units (ACCUs) are issued by the Clean Energy Regulator when your project measurably stores carbon in regrowing native forest. Every ACCU represents one tonne of CO₂ equivalent sequestered or avoided — verified against an approved methodology and independently audited.

Human Induced Regeneration

HIR projects allow previously cleared land to regenerate into native forest. By controlling grazing and managing the land differently, woody vegetation re-establishes and stores carbon that wouldn't otherwise exist.

Calculated every six months

Your net abatement is calculated each reporting period using the RMT or FullCAM carbon model — comparing your actual biomass against a cleared-land baseline. The CER issues ACCUs against the verified result.

Issued directly to your account

Once your Offsets Report is accepted by the CER, ACCUs are deposited into your Australian National Registry of Emissions Units (ANREU) account. They are yours to hold or sell.

How it works

Four steps. Every six months.

  1. Log field data

Stock movements, paddock days, management activities. Takes minutes on your phone. Evidence attached automatically.

  2. Data pulled automatically

AussieGRASS forage data fetched for your project. Grazing calculator runs against your stock numbers.

  3. Carbon model executes

RMT or FullCAM calculation runs. Net abatement calculated. All model outputs packaged.

  4. Review and submit

Your compliance report is generated. Review the draft, sign the proponent declaration, submit to the CER.

Management platform

Your project. Always up to date.

Pryleaf isn't a once-per-period form. It's a live management platform that tracks your project continuously — so you always know what you've done, what's due, and how your project is performing.

Live project dashboard

See your current period status, outstanding items, and recent activity at a glance. No waiting for a report from an intermediary to know where things stand.

Update data whenever you need to

Log a paddock rotation today, record a feral animal control event next week. Data goes in when it happens — not scrambled together at submission time.

Project timeline and milestones

See your full 25-year crediting period laid out — upcoming reporting deadlines, gateway check years, and permanence obligations — so nothing sneaks up on you.

Compliance alerts

Pryleaf watches for issues: paddock days approaching the 92-day limit, stock numbers that don't reconcile, missing evidence. You get a heads-up, not a rejection letter.

Project health

Always know where your project stands.

Pryleaf monitors your project continuously — not just at submission time. Gateway thresholds, restratification triggers, and period obligations are tracked so issues surface before they become compliance failures.

Gateway check tracking

Your 5, 10, and 15-year gateway checks require evidence of ongoing regeneration. Pryleaf tracks your forest cover trajectory against benchmark thresholds and flags potential issues before they become crediting pauses.

Restratification alerts

When areas of your project aren’t regenerating as expected, they need to be excluded and the project restratified. Pryleaf surfaces this from your field data so you’re never caught off guard at a gateway.

Period checklist

Every reporting period, Pryleaf tells you exactly what’s required, what’s been logged, and what’s outstanding. No uncertainty about whether you’ve met your methodology obligations.

Audits & checks

Built to withstand scrutiny.

ERF projects are subject to gateway checks, CER audits, and methodology reviews across a 25-year crediting period. Pryleaf structures your compliance records to hold up under all of them.

Gateway checks

At years 5, 10, and 15, the CER reviews your project's forest cover against benchmark thresholds. Pryleaf tracks your trajectory continuously so you know well in advance whether you're on track — not on the day of the check.

CER compliance audits

The Clean Energy Regulator conducts both random and triggered audits of project records. Every data point Pryleaf captures is timestamped, evidenced, and stored in an immutable audit log — giving you a complete, verifiable compliance record at any point.

Methodology audits

Auditors verify that the correct carbon model (RMT or FullCAM) has been applied correctly for your project type and registration date. Pryleaf selects and runs the appropriate model automatically and packages all model outputs for audit review.

Evidence requirements

The CER requires documented evidence for management activities, stock records, and permanence obligations. Pryleaf captures evidence at the point of entry — attached to the record, not assembled at submission time when it's too late to fix gaps.

Credit distribution

Your credits. Your account. Full stop.

Pryleaf is a compliance software platform. We are not a financial services provider and do not hold an Australian Financial Services Licence (AFSL). We do not provide financial advice, deal in financial products, or intermediate the sale of your credits.

Credits go directly to you

When the CER issues ACCUs against your project, they are issued directly to your ANREU registry account. Pryleaf never holds, transfers, or intermediates your credits. We handle the compliance work that gets them issued — the credits are yours.

How our fee works

Pryleaf charges a monthly platform fee plus a performance fee calculated on ACCUs issued each period. You receive your credits in full and invoice us separately — we are not involved in any credit transaction, sale, or financial product.
